Geetha Reddy's Necklace Recovered

The personal efforts of Anantapur Superintendent of Police ensured that Information and Public Relations Minister J Geetha Reddy's necklace was found within 4 hours after she had misplaced it.

Geetha Reddy had reportedly lost her pearl necklace while on a visit to Anantapur district. She was in the district to participate in the concluding ceremony of the 500th year of coronation of Vijayanagaram Emperor Sri Krishnadevaraya last Sunday.

After the ceremony, Geetha Reddy had visited Prashanti Nilayam to seek the blessings of Satya Sai Baba.

The I&B minister realised that her necklace was missing, just as she was about to embark on the helicopter for her journey to Hyderabad.

When the matter was brought to the attention of the police personnel, the DSP immediately ordered his subordinates to find the necklace. It was recovered within 4 hours, and returned to the minister on Tuesday.

Geetha Reddy thanked the police for their efforts. She also denied rumours that the pearl necklace was gifted to her by Satya Sai Baba during her visit to Prashanti Nilayam in Anantapur district.
