Health minister D L Ravindra has expressed his anguish against the commercialization of medical field. He has expressed his deep sadness over the act of certain doctor who do C section when normal delivery could be possible. He has also said that doctors in our state should learn a lot from the doctors in Sweden wherein more than 90 per cent deliveries there were normal.
D L Ravindra has met the representative of Sweden at the secretariat in Hyderabad to discuss medical matters. Minister has said that with the support of Sweden the infant mortality rate can be reduced to a significant level. Also, he said Sweden would support in the fields of tele medicine, tele diagnosis and protection of the aged. He even said that as of now the state was relatively losing over 40 kids out of 1000 and stressed on the need to bring down the number in the near future.
