Day's importance: Today is celebrated as International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers. The day reminds everyone to remain with compassion over the unfortunate tribe of Sex workers. It also reminds that none must suffer discrimination or face stigma from the society.
Thought for the day: Honor the aged they are our treasure. Off late the growing old age homes and news about the forsaken parents is on the rise. While it is painful, it has to be remembered that history repeats. Not only that our parents had sacrificed their best for us, but they need our support at their old age, our reciprocation plays an active role in developing our child's psychology. The old are the rich treasure troves of yesteryear, help them to live with joy. (Wishesh AarKay)
