The esteemed English and Foreign Languages University (formerly CIEFL) seems to be hitting headlines for all wrong reasons-the student suicides. After a Muslim student who allegedly killed himself a couple of weeks ago, a similar incident took place on the campus on Thursday that had sent shock waves among the students and faculty of EFLU.
Twenty-nine-year-old research scholar, Mohiuddin was found hanging at a mosque, which is located inside the campus. The police, who have rushed to the spot to take the stock of the situation, have booked a suicide case after they recovered a suicide note, which stated that the deceased took this decision in depression. Nevertheless, he even mentioned that no one was responsible for his extreme step. The body was sent for a postmortem.
The police have said that Mohiuddin got enrolled into M.Phil programme and hailed from a remote area in Tamil Nadu. He completed his thesis and expected his result.
