Will Centre Stop AP Capital Shifting From Amaravati?:- Despite of a lot of heat from the people and the opposition parties, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is strict on his stand on the three capital move. The coronavirus pandemic delayed the process of shifting the executive capital of Andhra Pradesh to Visakhapatnam. The Centre earlier made it clear that it would not intervene in the issue and asked the government of Andhra Pradesh to take the call following all the constitutional rules. YS Jagan is keen to move the capital from Amaravati. The farmers of Amaravati are protesting from the past 100 days against the government's move.
There are talks that the Prime Minister's Office enquired about the three capitals of AP and took a check about the shifting of the executive capital to Vizag. The state leaders of BJP are strongly opposing the movie. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan who is in an alliance with BJP too made some sensational and strong comments about the shifting of capital from Amaravati. YS Jagan too is keen to please the BJP leaders in New Delhi and continue the process on a smooth pace before it leads to new controversies. The capital shifting process was scheduled to May and it is now pushed to an unknown date this year.
