Pinki was recently released out on bail from the jail and soon after the West Bengal Sports Minister Madan Mitra alleged that she is involved in a land scam. Pinki was awarded a land by the government of West Bengal after securing 2 gold medals in 2006 Asian Games in Quatar. The government spent Rs 75, ” he said. 
Pinki however fought back the allegation saying that she has not sold the land and that she won it. She also clarified that a house was coming up soon there.
