Chennakesava Temple is one of the popular attractions in Belur. This beautiful temple was constructed by Hoysala King, Vishnuvardhan. It is designed according to the Hoysala style. The temple is well known for its architectural brilliance, especially the wonderful statues of gods, huge pillars, statuette of Shantala Devi who is the queen of King Vishnuvardhana and Madanikas.
