There have been plenty of studies over the years trying to decipher if men think more about making love. As more and more research on this piles up, it's becoming obvious that there is no need to stereotype men and women in matters of love.
Everybody wants it, some less some more. This is more an individual's perspective. That aside, a certain study about dreams has revealed some interesting insights. Apparently men have more dreams about intimacy compared to women.
We all know that its all about the moment for men, but very much about the experience for women. This is what the researchers found out in their dream analysis. Women had dreams that involved more wooing and romancing. And men had dreams of the act itself. This emphasizes that male and female brains have slightly different wiring.
University of Montreal scientists observed data on dreams for nearly 11 years before coming to a conclusion. They have also found out that women have more nightmares compared to men, perhaps from worrying so much about nothing.
Of the various themes that occur in dreams, falling, losing teeth, snakes, floods and being chased were the most common. Unsurprisingly, for men, love making is the most common theme. Other common themes include dreaming of superpowers, flying, murder and cosmic travel.
