Initially the Actor was introduced as a Hero with ‘Toli Valapu’, the film managed to get a average talk, but this did not fetch Gopi Chand to stand in the industry.

He was again re – introduced as a Heroine under the Banner of Eetaram Films, in the film ‘Yagnam’. The film turned out to be a Superhit and Gopi Chand Shot into fame. Till his film ‘Shankam’, that released two years ago, Gopi Chand was a Super Hit Hero, post ‘Shankam’, ‘Golimaar’, directed by Puri Jagannath, managed to be a average Hit.

His recent release, ‘Wanted’, was a flop again. At this point of time, any other Hero wants to play safe and chose to act in a film directed by Minimum guarantee director. But, according to the close sources, Gopi Chand has chose to act under the direction of Meher Ramesh, who made a big disaster like ‘Shakti’. It seems, Gopi Chand was impressed with a Story line narrated by Meher Ramesh and gave a green signal.

This film is likely to start, after Gopi Chand completes the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Mogudu’, directed by Krishna Vamsi, whose earlier film ‘Mahatma’ also did not fare well at the box office.
