Taking awards to an international platform is the latest trend and making South Indian films to reach that standards have always been a tough task.

South Indian International Movie Awards is being conducted in Dubai this year to take the South Indian Film industry to international level and guess what, considering this the biggest South Indian Awards, it is being hosted by none other than lover boy Madhavan, Lakshmi Manchu and Parvathy Omanatkuttan.

It is really a proud feeling to take South Indian Films to International level, but, we have to wait and see whether it can be justified by doing it in Dubai. Is India lacking venues to make it look like an International Awards? Just to make it look like an International Level Awards is it necessary that it should be conducted in Dubai?

Just by doing it abroad, does the film industries of South India get recognized at International level or it takes much more than just conducting it at International level?

Many unanswered questions. All we can do is wait and see if they are really reaching the international standards.
