Om Puri in trouble for using abusive language again

Noted film actor Om Puri had landed himself in trouble again with his abusive language on Tuesday. This time he had made insulting remarks against the journalists which had provoked the press club of Jaipur. The Pink City press club demanded that he seek apology.

Expressing his view about one particular journalist who was present at the Anna Hazare's strike in August 2011, he made an insulting remark talking about the mannerism of the reporter in presenting his views. He also said he was annoyed with the reporter, by using the Urdu word 'Kambakth'.

Om Puri was invited to attend the workshop by the Fine Arts Deparment of Rajasthan University in the capital city.

Kishore Sharma, who felt personally offended with the remarks made by the actor, demaned an apology from him.

"This is an insulting remark and we demand an apology from Om Puri. If he does not tender an apology, we will boycott his programmes in Jaipur," Sharma said.

In the August of 2011, the veteran Bollywood actor pulled himself into trouble by using abusive language while referring to the politicians and MPs while talking in a large congregation at Ramila Ground in Delhi, where Hazare was fasting. He had to apologize for his remarks later.
