Glamorous actress, Shruti Haasan-who tasted success in Tollywood with Gabbar Singh-is now all set to test her fate in Bollywood yet another time. She is playing a female lead role in a film by Prabhu Deva, which is apparently the remake of Nuvvu Vastanante Nenodantana (which was also directed by Prabhu Deva in Telugu). While Shruti Haasan's good friend, Siddharth played lead role in Telugu, the remake version will have Girish Taurani, a debut actor as the male lead. Shruti Haasan seems to be excited about this flick. We all knew Shruti has good vocals and may be she's good at dance too otherwise Prabhu Deva wouldn't have selected her for the role. One can imagine that Prabhu Deva gives maximum importance to dance in his films since he's a professional choreographer first and a director next.
Shruti Haasan apparently expressed her happiness for having worked with Prabhu Deva and reportedly said the movie would be well received. It may be noted that Telugu version created a box office record a decade ago. The story of the film revolves around two persons who accidentally falls in love with each other. While the boy is born in an affluent family, the girl will hail from a farmers' family. How the hero impresses his girl friend's brother to wed her is the main threme of the movie. In case the movie receives good response, then Shruti Haasan might get a good break, said film critics.
