An incident earlier today brought tears to the eyes of actress Tamannah when Seemandhra leaders attacked her. As she was coming out of the Vizag airport, Seemandhra protestors stopped her car and began forcing her to shout ‘Jai Samaikhyandhra’ slogans.
A frightened Tamannah refused to do so, although politely. This irked someone in the crowd and the situation became a nightmare for a few minutes. Tamannah broke her silence to say that she is just an actress and that she is an Indian. She requested the protestors to refrain from including her in this issue.
"Please Andi, Meeru Artham Chesukondi. Nannu Corner Cheyyodandi," she requested the mob. Tamannah handled an otherwise sensitive situation in a calm and poised manner. She was finally rescued by the police, who took a handle of the protestors.
