The Jubilee Hills police have booked cases against the multi-talented Lakshmi Manchu and Rabhasa producer Bellamkonda Suresh regarding a payment issue. According to police, Rabhasa maker took Gandharva Mahal for lease for a period of 45 days. Lakshmi Manchu who is the owner of the mahal sought a payment of above Rs 50 lacs. Initially Suresh paid Rs 30 lacs and later handed another cheque of Rs 10 lacs.
As the shooting got completed, Lakshmi Manchu demanded the rest of the payment and Suresh ignored this and also failed to answer the calls. Irked by this supporters of the Manchu girl staged a protest at Suresh's home in Jubilee Hills on Tuesday demanding the payment. The police stepped into action and removed the protestors at Suresh's home. But the protest continued for the second day too and still there was no response regarding the payment. So Lakshmi approached the police and lodged a complaint against Suresh.
Today, Suresh filed a complaint against Lakshmi Manchu for their agitations and threatening him. Overall the matter has slipped out of hands and causing inconvenience to Rabhasa's release which is tomorrow.
