Ajay Devgn will star in the Hindi remake of South flick 'Drishyam' which was remade in all the South-Indian languages. The original Malayalam version had Mohanlal in the lead role while the Telugu version had Venkatesh. Kamal Haasan will be seen in the Tamil version which had completed the shooting a while back and is currently in post-production stage.
The Hindi 'Drishyam' will be produced by Viacom18 and Nishikant Kamat will be directing the film. The shooting is expected to start from the last week of February and might release in the month of October this year. However, 'Drishyam' has equal importance for the female lead and we have to see who reprise the role in the Hindi version.
'Drishyam' made with a budget of Rs 4.5 crores, is the highest grossing film in the history of Malayalam cinema which collected Rs 60 crores.
