Manthra. The movie that made Charmi an over night star. After the success of the movie, not only fans, but also few of the industry members asked her about the sequel for the movie. She took it light in the beginning, but later the pressure from various fans and public made her to think on the sequel for the movie.

Finally she got convinced on the idea and started to work on the project. Amidst of many critical circumstances, movie has completed the shooting and gearing for the release in Summer. Needless to say Charmi gained huge fan following from Manthra, but may be due to the influence of that film, Charmi was not accepted by the audience as a regular glamour heroine. So she tried to perform some similar roles like Manthra in her later films like Mangala, Sayyata etc.

But those films could not reach up to the expectations of the audience and were remained as the disasters at the box office. So Charmi career saw a huge downfall since then. To get it back, she thought that Manthra 2 is the right film and now put for release. Hope all her dreams come true at least with this film.
