Post the release of 'Kandireega', Santosh Srinivas became one of the most sought out directors in Tollywood. But, 'Rabhasa' brought him craze down as it turned out as a disaster. After a gap of 2 years, Santosh is coming up with 'Hyper' starring his 'Kandireega' hero Ram.
Reports say that, a top production house in Bollywood acquired the rights for 'Hyper' by fetching 2 crores even before its release. This is definitely a morale booster for 'Hyper' team. Even before this, 'Kandireega' was remade in Hindi as 'Main Tera Hero' starring Varun Dhawan, Ileana and Nargis Fakri. That film became a huge hit in Bollywood. Though 'Rabhasa' rights were also fetched for good amount, they restricted themselves to just dub the film rather than remaking it.
This way Santosh Srinivas's films are getting good craze among Bollywood circles. On the other hand, 'Hyper' is gearing up for its release. As the teasers and songs created good buzz, we hope Santosh gets back to hit track with this film.
