He has been habitual for routine scripts which made the audience reject his movies. The actor has been facing tough time in Tollywood and he has no films currently. He then decided to make his comeback with comical roles. During his recent media interaction, Sunil revealed that he will be back to comedy roles.

The makers of Khaidi No 150 approached Sunil for a crucial role however the actor could not allot his dates as he has been occupied with shoot. With nothing much to do, the makers opted out for a replacement. The latest news we hear is that the actor has been once again approached for Megastar’s next film Syeraa. Chiranjeevi personally called Sunil and asked him to play a crucial role. The actor gave his nod immediately and Sunil will play an interesting role in Syeraa.

Surendar Reddy will direct the movie and the regular shoot will start from October. Nayanthara is the female lead and Ramcharan is bankrolling the film on Konidela Production Company. Made on a massive budget, Syeraa has been aimed for release during the second half of next year.
