Veteran Actress Geethanjali Passes Away:- Tollywood's veteran actress Geethanjali who impressed the audience of the previous generation passed away during the late hours of last night. She suffered massive cardiac arrest after which Geethanjali was rushed to Apollo Hospitals in the Filmnagar region, Hyderabad. The veteran actress was born in Kakinada and her original name was Mani. She changed her screen name to Geethanjali and gained immense popularity.

Some of her best works include Seetarama Kalyanam, Dr Chakravarthy, Leta Manasulu, Bobbili Yuddham, Devata, Leta Manasulu, Gudachari 116 and Sambarala Rambabu. Geethanjali got married to actor Ramakrishna and they have a son Adith. Geethanjali also served as a member of Nandi Award committee. Her mortal remains are kept in her Hyderabad residence for visit. Several Tollywood celebrities paid their condolences for the family of Geethanjali. Her last rites will take place this evening. Rest in Peace Geethanjali.
