Peeved over attempts aimed at coming to a compromise with the Telangana TDP Forum convener Nagam Janardhan reddy, another TDP MLA of the T region Mr K. Dayakar reddy has reportedly submitted his resignation to the Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar.
Dayakar reddy who is opposing the leadership of Nagam along with his colleague Motkupalli Narasimhulu, is angry over the party president Chandrababu Naidu’s attempts to woo the rebel leader Nagam.
It may be recalled that Narasimhulu declared openly that he would not work under the leadership of Nagam and reports say that he made the statement at the instance of Chandrababu. The TDP president’s idea that Nagam should leave the party on his own did not work out as the rebel leader is not ready to quit. Babu feels Nagam would get sympathy if he is expelled from the party.
After stalling the proceedings of the house alone in the name of Telangana, Nagam said that he did the right thing as per the manifesto of the TDP and he should not be found fault with for his actions in the assembly. Later, Babu worked out a compromise with him to ensure his isolation in the party at a later date. But this compromise formula was not liked by many among the Telangana TDP MLAs.
