Shruti Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan, has reportedly replaced Amrutha Rao as heroine in the movie Oh My Friend being produced by Dil Raju.
The shooting for this movie has already begun in the third week of January and young hero Siddharth and Amrutha Rao were featuring in male and female lead roles respectively but the buzz is Amrutha Rao has walked out of this project for some reasons.
Director Venu Sri Ram then replaced her with Shruti Hassan considering the popularity she gained through her latest movie Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu which also featured Siddharth as hero.
Siddharth and Shruti were said to have romanced abundantly during the free time of the shooting of their Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu and developed good chemistry between them. Now, it is everybody’s knowledge they have become good friends too. There are two plus points with her replacement in the Oh My Friend.
The first one for the audience is they can see the pair doing romance again in the movie while the other one, obviously for Siddharth and Shruti, is that they can practically continue their romance during the spare time of the shooting of this movie.
