It was heard that there would be a success meet to prove that the movie is a hit, sorry, to celebrate the success of Son of Satyamurthy. But it was again heard that the plan was now dropped.

Son of Satyamurthy which was released few days back fell into the mixed reviews. But still is managing to do good business at box office. Currently it grossed 37 crores and still long to go. To celebrate this occasion, movie unit has planned a thank you function on 18th April at Shilpakala vedika.

But as per few reports, there was a misunderstanding with the venue authorities and a small conflict between the duo, led to the cancellation of the function. But very soon after opting the other venue, the will as usual be held, the movie unit said.
