Nani signed a film for Maniratnam, who is his dream director to work for.

Nani, the name sounds small right? Even the audience loves to see him in small films and the recent hit Bale Bale Magadivoy is another example of it.

Almost every hero, dreams to turn as an action hero finally and for that, they uses the small films as the stepping stones. But that logic did not work out in Nani’s case, as his action entertainers like Paisa, are not liked by the audience.

However, Nani even has failures in the class entertainers like ‘Evade Subramanyam’, but his performance in such movies was applauded, regardless of the result of the movie.

So it might be then, Nani thought of his path seriously and opted class genre. That decision gave Nani, a blockbuster in the form of Bale Bale Magadivoy. Surprisingly, the movie reached Rs. 50 crores collections, which even a few of the action cum star heroes are unable to reach the milestone.

With that success, all the top directors are in the queue for Nani and maybe even he might not have imagined that Bale Bale Magadivoy movie success makes his dream come true, which is acting under legendary director Mani Ratnam.

Yes, Maniratnam approached Nani for a film and the latter, who, upon knowing Mani is coming to him, opened the gates in advance.

Nani signed a film under the direction of Maniratnam and currently, the pre-production formalities are being done for the movie.   

In the past, Nani lent his voice for the male lead in Maniratnam’s “Ok Bangaram” movie Telugu version, maybe to thank Nani, Mani might have offered such a big gift to Nani.
