Vijay Sethupathi to Lock Horns With Allu Arjun?:- Stylish Star Allu Arjun is busy wrapping up the shoot of his next film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which is a family entertainer directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The actor is in talks with Sukumar for an action thriller and the film is set in the backdrop of sandalwood smuggling. The script work of the film is currently in the final stages and the movie will have its official launch in November. Sukumar is in plans to complete a long schedule in December for the film.

As per the update, critically acclaimed Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is in talks to essay the role of the lead antagonist. Sukumar and Allu Arjun discussed about this after which the makers approached Vijay Sethupathi for the role. It is a powerful role and has different variations. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers. An official announcement about the principle cast, crew will be made during the film's pooja event.
