This is going to a phenomenon as even before getting released the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan has become a hot cake. The factors that is adding fuel to the frenzy are, the king of romance Yash Chopra's death, this being his final offering, SRK teaming up with the man who was the monumental figure in shaping up his career, to name a few .

Even though everybody knows  how sensational the movie can be yet Yash Raj Films wants to leave no stone unturned. As the part of the promotional plan they are starting it from Jalandhar, his birthplace as wished by the  legendary director. YRF sources confirmed it by saying “ "Yashji's last wish was to start off the promotions from Jalandhar first and then move out to other cities,"   

The entire cast of the movie , Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif will hold a press conference at Hotel Cabana Wednesday at noon in Jalandhar. It is also reported that from there the cast will visit Doaba College Jalandhar, the Alma mater of the late director to inaugurate a new media course, which the college has decided to commence in honor of the legend.
