prema kavaliThe dialogue master Sai Kumar brought out his all-rounder son Adi from the confines of school and cricket ground to the sets of Vijay Bhaskar. The hero who is capable of giving an all-round performance on cricket field with batand ball has displayed his inbuilt confidence in shaking his legs with another debutant Isha Chawla. It’s Vijay Bhaskar who has his credentials well established as a director under whose guidance Adi is penetrating into Tollywood which still being dominated by the 50 plus heroes like Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Balayya. So under this competitive atmosphere Adi has vowed to put all the training into use and establish himself as a notable hero. His father’s command in the industry as the dialogue king will no doubt ease the resistance but still it is the talent that counts. Adi shared with media on a shot chit chat.

About his education: he started schooling in Chennai in Padma Sheshadri till 7th and then moved to St Andrews at Hyderabad followed by St Johns for Intermediate and Bhavans for Degree.  He further added though he had liking towards acting, he had to refrain from declaring to his dad and instead concentrated on studies and sports.

On his extra-curricular: he fondly recollects that cricket was his passion and being an all-rounder he was selected for under 19 Ranji cricket team.  He happened to play under the captaincy of Ambati Rayudu, the climax being Pragyan Ojah, the Indian team player staying as room-mate during their Sri Lanka trip.

About entry into movies he said that he was undergoing some dance training as well as cricket coaching.  It was during that period his dad organized a programme called KALA (Karnataka Andhra Lalithakala Academy) for which Chiranjeevi was the chief guest. A dance event performed in front of Chiranjeevi made all the changes for him as Chiru advised him to develop upon the skill and try the luck in movies.  Thus he says that he could convince his father also about the hidden desire.  From then on it was more of training and learning that has brought him to this stage.

About training: he was quick to add a long list of trainers under whom he learnt the dances, fights, acting, dialogue delivery, etc.  So it was Lawrence masterfor dances, Pandian master for fights, Vizag Satyanand for acting and Kakarala for dialogues.

About the way he was offered a role in the ‘Prema Kavali’ he narrates a chain of events.  He said that he used to capture his actions during training and send them to his father through MMS which his father used to show to his close friend Dr Venkat, who is the owner of RR Movie Makers.  It was Dr Venkat who ultimately gave him a opening through K Vijay Bhaskar.

About his experience in his debut film he said that he was a bit hyper-active in pushing things a bit faster but he felt good as he was able to dub well as well as feel at ease in all aspects like dances, fights and dialogues.

While on the movie he said that it was a kind of love story with a feel good factor and his role was that of a college going youth by name Seenu havinginterest in NCC activities.

About his personal opinion on ‘Prema Kavali’ his answer was very simple and straight giving credit to the director that the movie has the imprint of Vijay Bhaskar in every aspect.

About his setting an image in the industry he chose to reply that he would wait to see the audience reaction and accordingly tread on a path.

About his pass time, as expected his reply was that his command over many languages keeps him engaged with different movies and programmes which he enjoys with certain selective personal friends.
