Recently, Music Director Ismail Darbar commented on A.R.Rahman winning Academy for his composition, ‘Jai Ho’ in the film, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. Darbar said that A.R.Rahman and the Director of the film, Danny Boyel, ‘Purchased’ the award and Darbar has the required proves about the same. While A.R. Rahman rubbished this allegation and later left to Los Angeles, the authorities of the Oscar Award committee took this statement of Darbar very seriously. They responded the Awards are given on the basis of Excellency of the Technicians of various departments in the Industry. It seems, the authorities have decided to sue Darbar for his false statements, by legally imposing 50 USD Million to be paid by Music Director to the authorities.

Ismail Darbar is not having any films in her kitty. He recently announced to make a Directorial Debut. In this process, Darbar might have thought making this kind of allegations would bring him to the lime light. He is in the lime light noim 50 USD Million.
