Actress turned Businesswomen, Preity Zinta, denies of she being offered a role that was supposed to be played by Aishwarya Rai, in Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’. The film was announced starring the real life couple Abhishek – Aishwarya Rai, in the lead roles. Since, Ash has confirmed her pregnancy; almost all the films committed by the Actress have become a question mark now.
We have learnt that Madhur Bhandarkar, who had plans of casting Ash in the lead role, in his film ‘Heroine’, is looking out for the replacement. Even, Rajkumar Santoshi, is doing the same. As per some sources, it was known that Rajkumar has approached Preity Zinta, for the replacement of Ash, to play lead role opposite Abhishek Bacchan.
However, Zinta has rubbished the news as a rumor, stating that she has not got any call till date from the film makers. ‘I am very happy for Ash, as she will be experiencing Mother Hood, soon. Ash and I have become very good friends over all these years. Ash is one such person, whom I can call anytime. I convey my regards to Abhi – Ash’, responded Zinta.
