Physical Exercise can Boost the Vocabulary Growth in Kids:- A recent study that is conducted by the researchers of the University of Delaware revealed that the exercise can boost up the vocabulary growth in the kids. The study is published in the Journal of Speech-Language and Hearing Research. All the children who participated are in between the age of 6 and 12. They were taught new words before doing one of the physical exercises. The children who participated in swimming are 13 percent more accurate in the tests of vocabulary words. Maddy Pruitt revealed about the results of the research and there is an increase in the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factors. The study attributed it to the amount of energy that each exercise demands of the brain.
Swimming is also one activity of the kids can do without much thought or instructions. The children also need mental energy to complete the moves. Most of the parents who took their kids to the playground or a walk after the school had their kids seen a growth in their vocabulary. Most of the kids who did exercise had a healthy lifestyle and are sharp at classes and creative work. The study clearly concluded the above revelations.
