Congress in a fix: T March repercussions

Late last night the Home Monister Sabitha Indra Reddy, DGP Dinesh Reddy and the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy met at the CM's camp office. The security department duo enlightened the CM over the various incidents that unfolded in the city capital owing to the TJAC event, 'Sagara Haram' (garland around Hussainsagar).

The security duo also ascertained that the security personnel were forced to get into action. They said that the T activists had deviated from the assurance given at the time permission for the T March. The roads that were not permitted for the procession also became the entry points for some activists which the police objected and that resulted into a chaos.

The next issue that created serious conflicts between the police and the activists were that when the T JAC Supremo Prof Kodandaram made an appeal to the activists to stay back for the night at the venue. In spite of heavy rain the activists stayed back and that led to the action by police, as the time allotted for the march had come to an end. This led to a chaotic atmosphere, last night with a free for all situation. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
