4 Personnel and 3 Terrorists Killed in a Gunfight in Kashmir:- Four Indian security personnel along with three terrorists lost their lives in a gun battle that took place at the Line of Control (LoC). It was a joint operation conducted by the Indian Army and the Border Security Force. One of the deceased among the Indian Army personnel is identified as Sudip Kumar, a 38-year-old BSF constable from Tripura. The terrorists opened fire and the team challenged them. One of the terrorists got killed immediately. The BSF made it clear that Pakistan resorted to ceasefire violation and helped the terrorists to reach the Indian grounds.

Sudip Kumar received bullet injuries but he continued to fight against the terrorists. Colonel Rajesh Kalia said that the movement of the terrorists was tracked through the surveillance devices and the contact was re-established at 10:20 AM yesterday. Soon, two other terrorists got killed. J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid his tribute to the soldiers who got martyred in the fight. The operation is still underway and the hunt for other terrorists is currently on. It is heard that hundreds of terrorists are waiting to enter into the Indian border and the hunt for them has been strict. As per the reports from the Indian Intelligence, around 250-300 terrorists are all set at the launch pads in Pakistan to enter into the Indian grounds.
