KTR slams Centre over the Railway Coach Factory for Telangana:- Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) slammed the Centre for taking a U-Turn and ignoring the setup of a railway coach factory in Kazipet which was promised for the state long ago. He said that the Centre ignored the promises made for Telangana and the Centre is just doing injustice for the South Indian states and is not bothered about them. KTR spoke at the CII Conference in Hyderabad today. He reminded that the Telangana government allocated 150 acres of land when the Centre wanted 60 acres of land for the railway coach factory in Kazipet.

Despite the efforts from the state government, the Centre ignored the railway coach factory in Kazipet. The Centre also cancelled the ITIR Corridor for Telangana. "The Centre came up with an idea of 'Make in India' but nothing was granted for Telangana. All the South Indian states are completely ignored. One should work to serve the people and not for elections. No company would make it for the Make in India program if the import tariffs are not revised. Even after making huge revenue from the state, the Centre is doing injustice for Telangana and is ignoring the state. The bullet train service is only for the people of Gujarat and not others in the country" slammed KTR.
