As everyone is trying to get good will and popularity for their contributions to the relief of Uttarkhand flood victims, the heroes on the screen proved to be heroes in real life too.

Pawan Kalyan simply donated Rs.20 lakhs and did not wish to get anything in return- name, fame, appreciation or publicity.

Same thing goes with Mahesh.  He made a secret donation, news of which just came out casually.  But no official announcement was made.  The Mahesh’s circle is not saying yes or no for the inquiry about it but it is known from the close sources that he made a donation of Rs.50 lakhs.  

The ruling party and opposition parties in the State and Center are making announcements and doing things to compete with each other for the publicity and recognition for the services rendered.  They use party flags and banners.  They are also engaged in criticizing each other for the poor response or a service with an eye on political gain, in an attempt to belittle others’ efforts.  

But, the reel heroes showed a real heroism by just donating without asking for any publicity.  It shows their feeling of responsibility to do something for the Society that gave them in abundance.
