The CBI is likely to arrest the DMK MP Ms. Kanimozhi, daughter of the former Tamil Nadu chief minister Karunanidhi along with the Kalaignar TV chief Sharad Kumar following the rejection of their bail applications today by the court in the sensational 2G spectrum scam.

Special CBI judge O.P. Saini ordered their arrest immediately while dismissing the bail pleas and directed the CBI to produce them before the court tomorrow morning when the hearing in the case will resume.

CBI had named Kanimozhi and Sharad Kumar as co-conspirators in its April 25 supplementary charge sheet after it traced an illegal money trail of Rs.214 Car in the scam to Kalaignar TV.
