Superstar Rajanikanth will be discharged from the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore on June 14 and fly back to Chennai the same day.

Rajani’s son-in-law and actor Mr Dhanush, who had returned from Singapore to Chennai on Friday, told journalists that the super star is very active, hale and healthy and will come back to India on June 14.

Actor Rajani was first hospitalized on April 29 when the shooting of Rana had begun at the AVM studios in Chennai. He was discharged in the evening from the hospital but again he was taken to the same St. Isbella hospital after a week. Again, he was admitted to the Sri Rama Chandra Hospital where the doctors treated him for a week and then suggested he should go for Singapore for medical check up and necessary treatment.

Dhanush had earlier announced the super star will come back and complete the film ‘Rana’.
