China’s most wanted criminal shot dead 

Zhou Kehua, 42, was one of the most feared criminals in China who was alleged with over 9 murders and carried a $1 million USD bounty on his head. He was shot dead today on Tuesday, after a huge manhunt was started by the police from the southwest Chongqing city police.

He was killed inTongjiaqiao Village in Qinjiagang Township in Shapingba District by a group of officials including police, sharpshooters, trained dogs, and soldiers and the pressure on the police to catch the fugitive was very high. He was found in the tough mountainous regions of the Chongqing city.

This death of the fugitive had freed the city from the clutches of crimes. The sudden manhunt was initiated after he killed a woman gunning her down near a bank to steal the money she had in her possession which was two and a half lakh Yuan, approximately $39,300 USD. He later escaped the police to hide in the Gele Mountains nearby.
The police released pictures that showed him shot in the head lying in a pool of blood dousing his blue shirt and suit pants. He had a small handbag, Pistol which he used to rob people, mobile phone, and sunglasses.

The police described the deceased as a ruthless and highly dangerous criminal who was notorious for robbing people near the banks. And was ranked “Class-A”. He had committed over 9 murders and injured 5 others over the past 8 years.

The Chongqing locals expressed joy as they could now go and access the banks without any fear of being robbed or killed.
