Pune now 4G enabled

Airtel has learned to market on its unique product that has no competitors as of now to make the most of the opportunity. The sole provider of 4G services in India, Bharti Airtel has launched its services now in Pune, the only second city in India to have the services after Kolkata.

This also makes Pune the first city in Maharashtra to have the 4G LTE services enabled. The leading telecom service provider has also provided Airtel Broadband TV as an introductory offer along with Games On-Demand.

With a price tag of Rs 999 to Rs 2999 depending on the data consumption, they are expected to go lower once the competition in the market starts. Airtel 4G availability in the areas could be checked online at the website. Online purchase of the services is also available. Facility for monthly EMIs and cash on delivery, along with other payment options are available.


K Srinivas, president for consumer business of Bharti Airtel, said, "Today, we are excited to launch Maharashtra's first 4G experience for Airtel customers in Pune. We are optimistic about the traction that 4G will see in months to come and look forward to rolling out our services in other circles soon".

Next on their targeted list would be metros like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. India's first multi-mode LTE TDD smartphone in India is about to become real with this Diwali after they have partnered with Qualcomm and Huawei.
