The violence took place when activists in Bangladesh’s capital have exploded several homemade bombs with suddenness while they ignited at least one bus during an opposition-sponsored general strike.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
To move ahead, the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party and its 17 partners were imposing Monday’s shutdown, which is aimed at securing the release of 154 opposition leaders and activists kept waiting this month.
As a fact, those kept waiting are facing charges of attacking police and creating chaos during an anti-government rally on March 11.
Officials say eight more opposition activists were delayed on Monday after bombs exploded in parts of the capital while thousands of security officials have been spread out across Dhaka to ensure order during the strike.
From this incident it becomes prevalent that violence have always been the key factor in use while ruling out with power and destruction. No one likes peaceful settlement in today's world which is really unfortunate!
