A 19-year-old Australian is aspiring for the Guinness World Record as the youngest person to fly solo around the world. Ryan Campbell if conquers the challenge will defeat American Jack Wiegand, who already established the record during June when he completed a global flight at age 21. Interestingly, Campbell left Wollongong, Australia, on June 30 and he strives to conclude his route on Sept 7.
Campbell expressed he wanted to fly from the time he was 6. Campbell flew solo at 15, got his pilot's licence at 17 and earned his commercial pilot's licence at 18.
That's outstanding courage at the same time true zeal to conquer such highest degree challenge.
It's not everyone’s cup of tea!
