Police in Southwest Poland mentioned that two burglars sold the bridge by the process of dismantling and sold it in for a scrap.

The bridge used by the local mine authorities was cut into elements and taken through truck to a recycling scrap point.

As the burglars were taken into custody by accident. They were making the last run when their truck broke down.

Mine security officers identified a doubtful truck standing by the roadside and called the police.

It was strange how the authorities couldn't identify the bridge dismantling process.
