Who says politicians are cold, rough and unromantic people? If anybody endorses this viewpoint, then it's time to turn his head and read this news for changing the opinion. Like a teenage boy's curiosity to beautiful woman, a romantic and young at heart Sri Lankan minister told a former beauty queen and fellow member of Sri Lankan parliament that he was so mesmerized by her looks that without keep on gazing , he could not answer her questions in parliament...!

Sources said,transport minister Kumara Welgama expressed his innermost admiration to Rosy Senanayake, a former Miss Sri Lanka and Mrs World who has also served as her country's High Commissioner in Malaysia, when she  asked the minister about the state of the country's Transport Board.

But much to her surprise, instead of answering her question, he told her he was 'choked' by her beauty and would describe his feelings for her outside the chamber. “I am so happy to answer a question by a beauty queen like Rosy Senanayake. You are such a charming woman. I have no words to describe my feelings, I cannot explain my feelings here. But if you meet me outside Parliament, I will describe them.” The minister said.
Reacting to this, the former beauty queen took the minister's comment as an insult. She said: 'I consider it as an insult. The minister should not have referred to my looks and womanhood in that manner, I'm still being recognized as a beauty queen, but I've been a high commissioner and in politics for such a long time." "As a woman you are not recognized as a person who has done so many portfolios, always referred to as the beauty you were in your heyday. I don't regret being a beauty queen.' She added.

The minister is charged of sexism and the final consequences of his 'ruled by heart' attitude is yet to be disclosed to the public. Well ..our point is - this silly Romeo must die..! ( metaphorically of course)
