Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will arrive in Puttaparthy on Tuesday morning to pay his last respects to the spiritual Guru Sri Satya Sai Baba who breathed his last Sunday morning.
PMO officials told media persons in Delhi that the PM will return to Delhi the same day after paying tributes to the departed spiritual leader.
Manmohan Singh described Sai Baba in a statement as a ‘spiritual leader who inspired millions to lead a moral and meaningful life even as they followed the religion of their choice’. “Sri Satya Sai Baba as a preacher of the highest human values was an iconic figure for over five decades,” said the PM.
The Baba became closer to the people through various institutions with headquarters at Prashanthi Nilayam and promoted egalitarian values, education and public health, Singh said.

AP chief minister Kirankumar reddy, Governor ESL Narasimhan, PRP Chief and mega star Chiranjeevi, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu and several business persons and Tollywood personalities already visited Puttaparthy and paid their last respects to the departed spiritual leader.
