Petition filed on Baba condition

satya-and-lawyerA lawyer today filed a petition at Penukonda court of Ananthapuram district in Andhra Pradesh seeking directions to the government to come out with facts on the health condition of Sri Satya Sai Baba.

Lawyer Bhaskara Reddy filed this petition alleging that facts are not being disclosed about the health condition of Baba and citing discrepancies in the medical bulletins released by the doctors.

The petition gains significance in the wake of reports that personal aides held hostage Baba and there are no real doctors at the ICU in the hospital. The court said it will hear arguments tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Dalitha Jana Sabha also filed a petition in the state Human Rights Commission today alleging that the Satya Sai Central Trust had violated human rights by not allowing Darsan of Baba to his devotees and by suppressing the real information on his health condition.

“Baba was held hostage in the hospital by some persons. Government must take action against them and facts must be revealed,” Dalitha Jana Sabha demanded the Human Rights Commission.
