
Chief Minister, Kiran Kumar Reddy today hinted at the possibility of his cabinet reshuffle by this month end after the budget session of the state assembly. In an informal chat with media persons in Hyderabad, the CM also hinted at changes in portfolios of some ministers.
In the same tone, he said that all nominated posts for various corporations would be filled up after the budget session of the assembly.
There are four vacancies in the Cabinet now and recently endowments minister Jupalli Krishna Rao has resigned but his resignation has not yet been accepted by the Governor.
It may be mentioned that the mega star Chiranjeevi-led PRP has merged with the congress party and the merger formalities would be over by this month end. Three MLAs of the PRP are likely to be taken into the Cabinet as per the promise made out to the PRP Chief.
Talking about the series of letters written by the minister Botsa Satyanarayana, the chief minister said that the minister is writing the letters with a good intention and there is no wrong in it. “In fact, Botsa is coming out with good suggestions in his letters,” he said.
On the proposed trip to New Delhi by T region ministers to discuss the T issue with the central leaders, the Chief Minister said he was hopeful of getting an appointment with the party president Sonia Gandhi soon for them.
