11 persons across Andhra Pradesh were killed as heavy rains lashed several districts with lightening and thunderstorms today.

2 persons in Buttaigudem village of Eturu Nagaram Mandalam in Warangal district, 5 daily wage workers in Rajapuram of Chandrugondu Mandalam in Khamam district and 4 persons across Vijayanagaram district lost their lives due to thunderstorm and heavy rains.

This is second time in the last ten days that untimely rains are lashing the state flooding the rivers and streams.
