Kadapa district collector Mr Sasibhushan Kumar, who was facing allegations of siding with the YS Jaganmohan reddy-led YSR Congress party in the by elections, refused to react to reports of his favoritism to Jagan.
Talking to media persons in Kadapa this morning, the Collector said that he had already recommended to the central election commission for re-polling in 108 polling stations and a decision of the authorities is awaited on this recommendation.
The Collector said he had received 139 complaints and demands for re-polling from different political parties and indicated he had already acted on some of them. “Some more complaints are being considered,” he said.
It must be mentioned the TDP had alleged that the Collector had taken a bribe of Rs.10 Cr from Jagan and acted at his behest in the by elections. It also demanded a probe against him.
