Ratnakar interrogated, Safaya resigns In a day of fast paced developments concerning the Satya Sai Central Trust, police today interrogated RJ Ratnakar, trust member and nephew of the late spiritual guru Sri Satya Sai Baba in connection with the illegal shifting of Sai wealth while Dr Safaya, director of the Satya Sai Super Specialty hospital reportedly quit his post.

Police interrogated Ratnakar in room number 6 of the Prashanthy Nilayam but later whisked him away to an undisclosed location as the media persons descended there in good numbers. Earlier, police interrogated Mr Venkatesh, the PA of trust member Srinivasan who is allegedly involved in shifting of Sai wealth along with Ratnakar.

In a related development, Dr Safaya, director of the Satya Sai Super Specialties Hospital, reportedly quit his post after he developed differences with the Trust members. Trust members however said that Safaya did not resign but only went on a three month leave on personal grounds.

It may be mentioned that Dr Safaya used to release regular medical bulletins to the media on the health condition of the Baba when the spiritual guru was hospitalized.
