TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who vehemently opposed family legacies in politics in a recent media meet, seems to have reversed his stand and has been reportedly making shrewd political moves to ensure his son Lokesh’s debut in AP politics.

 

The former chief minister is mulling to appoint Lokesh as the in-charge of the party affairs in Chandragiri assembly constituency to begin with to ensure a careful debut for him.

 

The Chittor TDP is likely to pass a resolution today or tomorrow seeking the state leadership to appoint Lokesh as the in-charge of the party affairs in the Chandragiri assembly constituency and forward it to party president for taking out a decision on the issue.

 

This way the TDP boss can reject criticism that he was trying to promote his son in the TDP and can defend his decision by arguing that he had simply accepted the demand of the district party leaders. But what is not known to many is that Chandra Babu himself directed the district leadership to pass such a resolution and send it to him.
