Reacting to the 3-week deadline set by the Telangana congress MPs to the congress high command to declare Telangana and introduce the Telangana Bill in the Parliament, Union Minister and in-charge of the AP Congress affairs Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad said today that the Center is seized of the matter and trying its best to find solution to the complex problem.

 

Addressing media persons in Delhi, the Union Minister said that the Centre has been discussing the issue with the party leaders in AP as part of its efforts to find solution to the vexed problem.

 

“The issue is very complex. Telangana congress leaders are demanding Telangana state while the Seema Andhra leaders are insisting on united AP and it is very difficult to find solution,” he said, adding that the Centre is trying to find solution to the issue despite its complex nature.

 

“The party leadership is trying to convince the Telangana congress leaders,” he said simply when asked about the 3-week deadline given by them and their threat of resignations.
