Several Ministers expressed their displeasure to the Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy at the cabinet meeting today over the sudden transfer of several IAS officers.
Most of the ministers who attended the cabinet meeting at the Secretariat objected to the manner in which the IAS officers were transferred without even a slightest hint or information to them. The most vocal among them is Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana reddy who raised serious objection over the chief minister’s action in transferring three of his senior officers without prior intimation to him.
In order to compete with PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana who has been moving in top gear to revamp the party administration, chief minister Kirankumar reddy transferred 36 IAS officials three days ago to make his mark on the bureaucracy but the action surprised many ministers.
The cabinet discussed the issues of appointing special officers to the local bodies, conducting elections to the cooperative societies and publicizing the ordinance issued for the benefit of the tenant-farmers.
